Meet Stacey Barnes Ph.D.
As a member of Iowa State University’s corporate engagement and foundation relations team, Stacey collaborates with the Office of the Vice President for Research, Economic Development and Industry Relations, and the Iowa State University Foundation. Since May 2021, Barnes has worked with units across campus to acquire and analyze data used to create and execute holistic engagement strategies for corporate partners. Originally from Accrington, England, she has been part of the Iowa State University community since 2012, earning her Ph.D. in genetics in 2018, and serving as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Postdoctoral Fellow. Prior to her current role she worked in data reporting and project management for the Office of Admissions.
